Leaders at Trinity

God calls the hearts and hands of many people to prepare for worship opportunities on Sundays. Behind the scenes there are choir rehearsals, setting the Table, baking bread and buying wine ... In short, many hands make work light and service joyful. You may be inspired to help...

Here are some of the ways you can serve:

Chancel Guild: Arrange the Table and ceremonial vessels before the Sunday morning service and clean up afterward.

Choir: Our enthusiastic choir members volunteer their time and talent. Rehearsal is Sunday morning at 9:30,right before service. The staff Minister of Music engages all voices with a variety of musical styles. Concerts, special guests, professional presentations, dance, drums … are all part of our offerings to God and one another.

Hospitality: Prepare refreshments for after the services - we call it coffee hour. Our encounter with God continues after the service in each person through fellowship. Whether bought or home-baked, the food brings people together and the conversation makes it holy.

Lector: Prepare for and read selected passages or lead the prayers at any of the worship services.

Acolyte: Assist at the Sunday morning service. Children and adults can participate.

Chalice Bearer: Serve wine at communion on Sunday morning.

Greeter: Greet people attending the services, pass out worship guides. This is a good way for anyone to get to know others and to begin the worship experience on a high note.

Child care: Children of all ages deserve special care and opportunity to learn our heritage. We emphasize the basic and important stories of the scriptures. A dedicated worship service for 0-6 is at 9:00 and there is an activity corner during the 10:30 worship for fidgety children.

Youth: Youth are encouraged to learn about and live Christian commitment through service projects in the community and serving in all capacities in worship.

Adult Ed: Open to everyone who wants to puzzle out the problems of life. There are seasonal study groups, individual opportunities and special classes for the Rites of the Church - all changing and can be found on the education page.

Liturgy Committee: Learn about the components and history of worship; drawing from traditions from many cultures around the Anglican communion plan worship liturgies by season of the church year.
