Community Outreach Partnership began at Trinity Memorial Church more than two decades ago from a call to action by the then Diocesan Episcopal Bishop to address the problem of a growing homeless population in Philadelphia. From that time, we have grown into a non-sectarian, inter-faith community action organization of volunteers from around the city providing direct help to Philadelphia’s most vulnerable populations. Our own programs and other organizational affiliations benefit the homeless, the hungry, the elderly, children, the incarcerated, and include a community supported agriculture endeavor.
We are supported by two-dozen agencies, organizations, foundations and congregations. The Partnership is managed by a volunteer board of community representatives and parishioners chosen primarily for their interest and activity in social service outreach. The board oversees the operation of projects, raises funds, and recruits and develops volunteers.
Your volunteering with Partnership programs can be as much or as little as you have time and energy to offer.
